Niagara Health & Bioscience Research Complex

Ecological

PMA Landscape Architects was the project landscape architect for the Niagara Health and Biosciences Research Centre (NHBRC) in St. Catherines. The design of the site works surrounding this state-of-the-art facility had to adhere to the Brock University Master Plan including guidelines towards accessibility.

The landscape scope included:
•    entry forecourt designs
•    extensive planting regimes
•    pedestrian circulation that met with the main campus walkways
•    parking lot design

NHBRC is a LEED-certified project. An irrigation system used captured roofwater from a cistern.
