Downsview Park Reforestation and Site Works

PMA Landscape Architects Ltd. were retained as the project landscape architects to implement the first series of projects from the Downsview Park Master Plan, which would result in the foundation of the Canada Forest. The projects required the management and development of the detail design to contract documents and construction supervision for the initial Site Works & Demolition contract, and the detail design to contract documents towards an urban reforestation exercise of 12 ha (30 acres) in area. The detail design had to maintain PDP’s mandate in terms of sustainability and resource efficiency.
