Dundas West Streetscape

The Dundas West Business Development Area retained PMA to determine a long and short-term strategy for streetscape development on Dundas West. The study assisted the DWBIA in prioritizing projects, establishing capital budgets, and ensuring that the DWBIA has the ability to negotiate or expand upon projects that arise through the City of Toronto (such as City Transportation, TTC, or Parks Forestry and Recreation). The streetscape study identifies the opportunities and weaknesses of the current streetscape conditions through an in-depth visual inventory and defines a long-term vision and concept plan for the streetscape. PMA was then retained to execute the study, detailing the streetscape design and a series of parkettes along Dundas West. PMA partnered with local artists to create unique streetscape elements to create a consistent street character.
